Bil Started as a DJ
back in 1984. Starting with house parties, he moved on to
small social events and schools. From there he was brought on
and trained by one of the largest DJ services in Hamilton in the
80's. Being one of 20 disc jockeys, he learned and adapted
quickly. The company saw his eagerness to learn and started
putting him on the most difficult events. This was by the age
of 16! A wedding specialist by the age of 16. Oh yeah,
he was driven by friends or took taxis. He started doing local bars, private clubs, holiday parties, award banquets, company picnics, conventions, fashion shows, music in the park in Niagara On The Lake, grand openings, schools, universities, colleges and of course weddings. In 1987 he left the company to focus on the company he was growing. His focus on the local Hamilton high school market and local night clubs had him djing 6 nights a week. In the later 80s he worked at an all ages club in downtown hamilton and started doing dances out of town also. By the age of 21 he was burned out from the night club scene and focussed on getting back into the wedding and corporate business. This is when things were steady and controllable. The intense focus on growing his wedding business. |
