 Why book a consultation? As you will hear from many people in the wedding industry and you will read about is that the entertainment is one of the most important things about your wedding day. Not putting any thought into who you choose as your entertainment company and going with the best deal is a grave error! Trust us on this one! We have provided emergency service for "no show" djs and even the weekend warrior dj who shows up with burned music on a computer and home speakers. A consultation is like an interview. As many of our clients have stated, they have met with other djs and did not feel comfortable or there was some type of attitude or friction. In this case, keep looking. Check out our tips for hiring a dj for more helpful tools. When you have booked with us, there is usually what we call a final consult meeting. This is important! If its by fax, phone, email or in person...this is the meeting that sets in place all the details for you wedding day. We leave this meeting until about 4-6 weeks before your date so that you can arrange with the other professionals you have hired to help make your day a success. The details they provide you will help us with our planning details. IMPORTANT - It is very important that you try to fill out as much as you can in the reception planner we provided you. We will help you do the rest - don't panic with a few blank spots. If you mess up the first one, you can download another from our website. Please do not fill in the form while your sitting in traffic on the way to the consult! Put some thought into your day! After the consultation, we begin the process of programming the details for the wedding. 8 days before your date the paperwork is already delivered to the disc jockey for review. Any changes or additions to music must be supplied by you in advance of the wedding unless you can see we have in our database file you can download. Any changes after the final consult are not guaranteed. We will do our best to make sure the changes are made. It is best that you email or fax your changes to us. They must be in writing. We have been involved in creating successful wedding receptions for over 20 years, so our experience, when given, is usually given for a reason. Our experience also tells us that when last minute changes are made to anything- something will not go the way you want it to. Our simple advice.
